This is a wonderful collaboration of typography and photography, playing with the idea of the kind of tips our generate would give our grandkids.

I wish more people on Tumblr got told this particular tip…

this speaks to me more of the insecurity of photographers than the people who instragram for the joy of it. just because people are taking more pictures and learning about filters, doesn’t make the skills of a professional any less. in fact, people learning about and participating in the field, only makes professionals more appreciated. of course, this thinking comes from someone who thinks every field should be competitive and have many people learning about and participating in it.

if you’re the best, you’re the best. and if you just happen to love taking photos, then go for that too. the world is in fact big enough for all of them.
